Samsung has been fighting-back to Apple with Standar Essenstial Patents, but this fight hasn’t returned any great victory to the korean giant and it seems that it won’t for a long time, this time is Japan, which has declared a SEP patent from samsung invalid, now Google’s Motorola and Samsung both have failed to get any traction to derail Apple’s legal strategy and force it to negotiate.
Samsung has failed miserably in any court it has sued Apple, it was forced to dismiss its SEP enforcement in the European Union because of the big legal problems it’s about to face for trying to get injunctions against Apple using standard patents, which is an aberration of the standard system.
Samsung hasn’t convinced any court about its patents fight against Apple and has only get a small victory on its own country, Korea, but nothing to feel happy about.
